Richard Dawkins: Show Me the Intermediate Fossils

I have selected this video from Richard Dawkings video productions, one of my heroes, to help fight the ignorance of most nonscientists who think that beliefs have anything to do with the nature of science and our world. This one is specifically is for idiots like Rick Perry who use their ignorance to perpetuate their fairytails and myths.

PostSecret: Confessions on Life, Death, and God

In this video many young people are approached on the street and asked to reveal a secret. It is entertaining hearing and seeing their answers. This is one in a series where the same thing is done in different cities.

The Trench

This is another excellent video by Phillip Bloom that shows a reenactment of trench warfare during the Great War.

Alone in Tokyo

If you have not visited Tokyo this is an excellent glimpse of this mega multifaceted city. It is a great place to visit, and I wish that I will have the time to return there to further explore.

 Miehina the Kyoto Geisha

I so clearly remember, years ago, Yumie and I walking through Gion, the geisha district of Kyoto. It is not uncommon to see geisha walking in full kimono through this part of the city.

I wish I had visited all of these places.

Last Minutes With Oden

To date this is the best video that I have added to my site. It is an excellent documentary of a man on the edge of society who must put down his dog Oden. Alert: It is a tearjerker.

Desks-Music and Sound Design

This video shows the link between a person and the desk he works on. You will like this one.

Everything is a Remix, Part II

Here is a video that shows that our most popular films are just remixes from older film. Kirby Feruson show the new film along side the old and shows that they are the same. The section on Star Wars is especially good.

Meet Your Maker

I really enjoyed this video of a Toronto guitar maker. It shows him working on new creations plus it has musicians playing his guitars, which are works of art.

The Funny Thing About Lois

Check out this well-done animation video.

Shelter From the Storm

This is an inspiring but sad video of the state of our educational system which reflects our declining society. Here you will see a true teacher, not just a person in the front of a classroom, who is making a difference in the lives of low-income children in LA. Why can't we focus on education and institutions that make our lives better rather than fund a mega-military and support the oil industry?

Suddenly Last Summer

Again I have selected a video by Leonardo Dalessandri. In this video you will beautiful still photos complimented by elegant videos of summer.

Under the Lucan Sun

This is another video by Leonardo Dalessandri. This video is mesmerizing giving it a dreamlike quality. The photography is first rate. It was filmed with a Canon 5D Mark II, a still camera with first rate video capabilities, as you will see.

City of Love (Parma, Italy)

This is a beautiful picture of an Italian city and its people. As I told some of you when I returned from Italy, the Italians are more civilized and have a better lifestyle than we do in the States.

Manuel de los Santos

A video about Manuel de los Santos who plays golf with one leg. It is an excellent video.

People of New York

This is a well-done video of the tourists of NY. It makes me want to visit since I have not been there since the '80s. I guess it has changed a bit.
