The Last Survivor Trailer

"The Last Survivor is a character-based, feature-length documentary that explores the idea of genocide in the 21st century. Following the lives of survivors of four different genocides and mass atrocities - The Holocaust, Rwanda, Darfur, and Congo - the film presents the stories of Survivors and their struggle to make sense of the tragedy by working to educate, motivate and promulgate a civic response to mass atrocity crimes. Offering real world examples of Survivors who have become powerful agents of change, The Last Survivor presents a unique opportunity to learn from the lessons and mistakes of our past in order to have lasting social impact on how we act collectively in the face of similar issues today."

"Handcrafted with love by BYU design students and faculty, for the 5th Typophile Film Festival. A visual typographic feast about the five senses, and how they contribute to and enhance our creativity. Everything in the film is real—no CG effects!"

Lynx

Lynx is a beautiful video shot with a conventional camera, Canon 5D Mark II. The sharpness of video is unprecedented. It also shows you how our domestic cats are not far removed from their wild cousins.

When Two Worlds Collide

This is a trailer for a film on an indigenous Amazonian leader who is trying to save his world. Unfortunately, this is a story for our entire planet not just the Amazon basin.

"When Two Worlds Collide: A hazardous journey of an Amazonian leader confronting the rules of the globalization game created by developed countries in order to protect corporate interests. With the Rainforest facing peril, this apocalyptic story presents two colliding visions that shape the climate future of our world."

Richard Dawkins: Show Me the Intermediate Fossils

I have selected this video from Richard Dawkings video productions, one of my heroes, to help fight the ignorance of most nonscientists who think that beliefs have anything to do with the nature of science and our world. This one is specifically is for idiots like Rick Perry who use their ignorance to perpetuate their fairytails and myths.

PostSecret: Confessions on Life, Death, and God

In this video many young people are approached on the street and asked to reveal a secret. It is entertaining hearing and seeing their answers. This is one in a series where the same thing is done in different cities.
