Contagion

Contagion is a fast-paced thriller in which a hybrid virus created from bat and pig DNA rapidly spreads around the world killing millions of people. It begins with Gwyneth Paltrow, Beth, contracting the virus on a trip to Hong Kong. Quickly after her return to the US she dies of this viscous virus. This sets in motion the entire plot of the film. You follow her husband played by Matt Damon and his quest to save his daughter. You also follow Laurence Fishburne, Dr. Cheever, a doctor at the Center For Disease Control in Atlanta. Additionally, you follow both those affected by the virus plus the people who stand to make money on the pandemic. It is good movie and as good as any other epidemic film that I have seen over the years. Check it out.
