"This is the Lantern Floating Ceremony that I shot on Memorial Day of May 30th, 2011. This is an annual ceremony that happens every year on Memorial Day at Ala Moana Beach Park in Honolulu, Hawaii. It's a beautiful ceremony that brings people together from all over the world, from all types of religion, in one place to remember those that have fallen in conflict, and to reflect and send prayers to loved ones. It is a ceremony that is all about promoting peace. The ceremony is led by Her Holiness Keishu Shinso Ito who is the spiritual head of Shinnyo-en."
